+Who owns the software when an external developer wrote it for me?
Without an explicit contract the copyright remains with the developer – you only get a licence to use it. If you need to further modify or sell the software, the contract must address this explicitly. We always recommend a contractual arrangement before the development starts.
+Are template terms of service from the internet enough?
Not for a functioning e-shop. Template GTC usually contain invalid clauses, do not address your specific processes and expose you to fines from the Trade Inspection. We prepare GTC exactly for your business.
+How much does trademark registration cost?
A national trademark in the Czech Republic with Industrial Property Office fees and our work costs around 12–18 thousand CZK, a European EUIPO mark around 30–40 thousand CZK. We confirm the price after the search.
